Dear Arnold, thank you so very much for taking time to encourage the Team of young people here at the hotel. Positive words always reinforce Positive habits. In a day when large stores seem to have no help and no real management, our managers and owners try to make themselves available to our guests. If we are not there at the moment, our Staff is expected to get the information, so that we talk directly with our guests. Our Front Desk tries never to put guests into Voice Mail, and if we have to, our managers will get to those messages and answer them personally.Bringing back an old American tradition - Real people taking care of their guests. If the guest cares enough to do business with you, you should care enough to personally be available. It's a real American thing. Ron « hide

LJ, thank you for your comments. We appreciate your comments. As a result of your comments,we have had a fine company from North Carolina come in and steam clean all our carpets and upholstery, and drapes. Since taking over in the first part of January, we have certainly had our marching orders. Comments like yours help us to keep in focus, what it is our guests are needing. Thank you for your kind comments. Since taking over the hotel in the first part of January, a new Team is trying to turn the hotel into a clean and friendly place for guests to stay. We appreciate so much when guests give us their input - both good, and when we missed the mark. It helps us to personally work with our Team and for us to set goals to be the best hotel that we can be. Feedback from our guests is the Breakfast of Champions and Winners, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. I truly believe that there are not a lot of poor employees out there. Dear Harry, thank you for taking time to respond and thank you for staying with Wingates and Wyndham. While I cannot comment on the problems of the old ownership, I will tell you that I appreciate your comments. You will find that the hotel now has all of the different national sugarless products, plus Sugar In the Raw, and one of new healthy sugarless sweeteners, which we get from Whole Foods. We have also added a very nice collection of Bigelow and Twinnings teas, both regular and decaffeinated. And coffee and tea 24 hrs. a day. Apples at our Front Desk, and freshly baked cookies all evening. If you will get in contact with Tina or Ron, they will arrange for you to revisit the property.
