“Hotel nice, reservation system ineffecient”

I was pleased to arrive at the warm lobby, but was shocked to hear that the reservation system had logged an additional two rooms in my reservation! This caused much grief and anxiety, as thre front desk staff was unable to resolve this due to restrictions in the reservation system itself (Wyndham Rewards). Staff was unablew to get a manager to come in on the weekends to resolve this concern, which then spilled over into my business workday. I did receive a call from the supervisor saying it had been resolved, but only after I had to call my budget/contracts department. The hotel staff did seem like they wanted to help, but one would think the reservations and hotels could work together more efficiently. Customer service is crucial in this industry; the interactions between the reservation system and the hotel staff was inefficient and the ball was dropped in this process.
