“Very Frustrated”

We went to this hotel for the beds. Last year we went and they had sleep number beds which is what we have at home. My husband and I both have major back problems and don't sleep well without a good bed which you typically don't find in a hotel. This year they are getting rid of the good beds and although there was still one in our room, we had to fight to be able to have the controls to the bed which were hooked in wrong and hidden inside the mattress. Also, most hotels now have fridge and microwave available especially if you reserve ahead with that on your reservation. It is medically necessary that we have a fridge and micro for our daughter who has major food allergies and digestive problems. I called to reserve and make sure this would be available. I paid more by calling instead of reserving online so that I made sure we had this available. The reservation department said they would note it on my reservation and have one available. When I checked in, I still had to fight for the fridge and micro. The room is extremely expensive, especially for having to fight for such simple things which we were promised upon reservation. The staff at the front desk kept lying to us like we didn't know what was going on with the bed and the fridge and micro. We don't use Louie's Lagoon, only the rooms, so I feel we didn't get value for our money at all since we had to fight with the staff so much. The only staff who was helpful was the maintenance man who came to fix the bed so that we could have control of it. We won't be staying at this hotel again. We come to the area at least once a year if not more and we won't ever be there again and all of our family members and friends who travel to the area already know of the problems and won't stay either.
