“Getaway Weekend”; Feb 20, 2013 Rickey K, Raleigh; I was very impressed by this hotel in Wilmington, NC. My biggest complaint was that the bed had dip in the middle of it, so it was not as comfortable as it should have been. My next complaint was that the fried eggs on the breakfast buffet were some kind of egg product, not real eggs. They tasted OK, but the egg yolks seemed fake, as if some yellow coloring was added near the center of the egg to simulate an actual yolk. The scrambled eggs were fine. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Great location very close to the riverfront and to the beaches. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance from the hotel. Reasonable rates and helpful staff. Very nice television in the room, but more viewing choices would have been nice.

We apologize your mattress was not up to par and have reviewed with our Director of Housekeeping to make the necessary changes. We completed a full renovation of our property last year so we appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Our management makes every effort to provide the largest variety of choices (yogurt and fresh fruit to bacon and homemade waffles) for our complimentary breakfast, so we hope you find something you enjoyed each morning.
