“too few staff”

We were given rm 309. Immediate problem, the door wouldn't lock as deadbolt interfered w/ closure; had to shimmy up then down, then adjust;clogged drain; took a showere and water would not release to drain; stood in a bath full of dirty water while showering;tv remote not working on command; frustrating pointing to tv w/ no result; probably only needed battery change.remote room phone not working; I tried charging it, no result, frustrating after wanting to report other problems, to find out the mobile phn not working either.husband pulled out the dresser drawer for clothes, front panel fell off.look up to the ceiling, black dots, looked like colony mold growth from wetness or something.We advised the lobby clerk; she was there alone, it appeared at all times, there was only one staff; she gave us another room directly across- much better and everything worked. Were it not for the initial room problems, this would have been a great stay. Breakfast bar was great w/ lots to choose from. Was surprised when our bill was not negotiated.
