“Could have been better”

I originally had two rooms booked for my stay. One in which I reserved online for a double bed and the other room that was made with a rep at the hotel which should have been a double bed. Prior to my arrival I called and spoke with a phone rep and advised him that I needed to cancel one of the rooms but needed to keep the room for two beds. He assured me that everything was ok and canceled the room I had reserved with the double bed. He spoke very rapidly but advised that everything would be fine at check in. When we arrived at 2:00am, we had to deal with the issue of not having enough space and we had to make accomodations to make everyone comfortable as possible. The upseting thing about our stay was the afican american lady at the front desk showed no remorse and did not give it a chance to try and understand why we were frustrated and where the mistake happened. She kept cutting me off and just stated that they were all booked up. She never apologized. This made our stay very frustrating because there was anger built in from the way we were handled on day one.
