“Hesitant to stay at a Wydham hotel again after this”

1. Room was not what as promised--I requested 2 queen beds and was initially given a King w/sofa bed2. Wrong card was charged (the person I shared the room with) despite my emphasis that I was the responsible party, as I was the one who made the reservation and I was the one who used my discount on the room.No signatures were collected for the $290.00 bill despite the card number being changed. That is not a secure transaction, in my humble opinion.The same person dealt with me each time I contacted this location: Charlotte made NO APOLOGIES for any inconvenience on my end. I was blatantly cut off when I called back to complain about my roommate's card being charged and provided an example as to why I was upset--the possibility of being liable for overdraft charges from the wrong card being charged for the room.I have been using Wyndham hotels for over a year--I race mountain bikes all over Texas and am involved in National Academic conferences. I have never been as frustrated as I was after this weekend and will be remembering this incident when I--and my colleagues--make travel arrangements in the future.Sincerely,Susannah Patricia BannonTexas State University
