“Hotel Review”

I made my reservation using Orbitz for Business, which is the service I use for every business trip I take. I always receive a receipt from hotels, even when using Orbitz. When I checked out, I was told I could not receive a receipt, because I booked using Orbitz. I need receipts to claim my reimbursements, so this is quite inconvenient. The man at the front desk explained that when a person books a hotel room using Orbitz, the hotel does not know how much was paid and therefore cannot issue a receipt. I didn't agree, but didn't argue, and turned to walk away. (It was 6:00 am, and I had a plane to catch.) He stopped me, said, "I don't mean to keep you," but then kept me for several additional minutes trying to explain. He wasn't unpleasant, but I didn't feel he was very knowledgeable. The rest of my stay was fine. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing awful. I stayed here because I thought it was close to the airport, but it's not as close as many other hotels, so I won't be staying here in the future.
