“Nothing Special”; Jan 14, 2013 T B, Philadelphia; We stayed here based on the reviews, but decided that the very positive writers have different ideas about cleanliness,service, and comfort than we do. The room was clean enough -- not remarkably so -- but was sub-par in many other ways -- hooks coming out of walls, lumpy mattress, poor shower pressure, fusty air, a check-in clerk who wouldn't even try to provide us w a receipt ( "You can call hotels.com but they won't give you one either" -- in fact hotels.com DID, expeditiously), and a meh breakfast. Adequate, but nothing more.
