“Disappointed”

Although I'm a Hilton honors member and stay at Hilton Hotels often during business travel, I usually stay at this particular Wingate when traveling to Ohio due to it's somewhat hidden location and the service I receive; however, I must say that the hotel was much different during this visit. To sum it up: front desk clerk was on the computer when I needed help, lobby and elevator floors dirty with the same spills the entire weekend, bed linens were torn and dirty, walls dirty in rooms. I drove 10 hours and asked the attendant to come back later and clean my room because I wanted to get some rest. She came back much later and didn't clean the sink, didn't vacuum, didn't leave cups, threw the sheets up on the bed and took off. I was a little late checking out (most hotels give you a grace period, or at least Hilton does). Someone from the front desk called and then someone came banging on my door like I was a criminal. I did check out long before noon and the punishment didn't fit the crime. Needless to say, I won't be staying again. The hotel must be under new management, or something because this was not the Wingate in Erlanger that I once knew.
