“Nice hotel but service is inconsistent”

The room was very nice, and most of the staff were helpful. At check-in, the front desk employee stated that our reservation was for a "handicapped king", when, in fact, we had reserved on-line three weeks before and the confirmation reflected that we requested two queen size beds. The clerk was argumentative and insisted that we had made the erroneous reservation, even though my printout and confirmation clearly indicated that the reservation was for two queen size beds. We were told to return in a half hour. We returned two hours later, and were told that it would be another half hour until the room was cleaned. An hour later, the room was ready; that is, three hours after the clerk told us that the room would be ready in a half hour. The first clerk was not helpful, and was anything but hospitable. The second one was helpful, and hospitable, and she advised us when the room was ready. This was our third stay, but I would consider staying elsewhere next time because we had a problem previously with the same clerk, who is tactless. The next morning, there was a loud knock at the door at 9:00 AM. Then, there was another loud, insistent knock. A room service person wanted to clean our room. Check out time is 11:00 AM. The staff should respect that!
