“Motion sensors for A.C. incredibly stupid”

It was 95 plus degrees during my stay. Could never get room to cool because ac was on motion detector. Paid extra for my dog. Dog confined to crate per hotel. Temp in room potentially fatal to dog. It was 80 plus degrees in room. Staff said it was the company and they could do nothing about it. This policy of tying the ac to motion detector to ac totally unacceptable. Was I supposed to do jumping Jacks every 15 minutes so ac would not shut off? That makes sleeping difficult. Makes me incredibly angry recalling this. Woke up more exhausted than I was when I went to bed. ROOM WAS UNLIVABLE! This was regrettable. Otherwise I would have been more than satisfied with hotel. However, the inability to cool the room, and the staff's inability to do anything about it, made this the worst hotel experience of my life.
