“A great find”

  , Lexington
First off, the location couldn't be beat as or the view. Granted our room didn't have a straight on view of the beach, I could see it and breakfast was great with a head on view. The beach itself was a bit rough (pretty to look at, but not so much to go and swim in). The price was also great, the room was amazing not only space wise but also amenities. A large mini-fridge along with a separate microwave was great. Flat screen tv with a remote that wasn't chained down, also a perk. Also there was an alarm clock with an aux input, which is a rarity. Very nice and comfy beds. I could have used a couple extra pillows, but that is neither here nor there. The bathroom was also huge compared to so many other motels I have stayed at. I mean it wasn't one of those that you could use the bathroom, brush your teeth and wash your hair in one location. It was really nice. Also there was actual shelving in the tub. This made actually keeping our bathing stuffs in there so much easier. This goes without saying how awesome the complimentary supplies were. The breakfast was awesome. Not just your run of the mill pastries and cereal. Eggs, bacon, gravy, biscuits, bagels, grits, fruit, milk, yogurt and fresh waffles. It did get a bit crowded during the rush (7-9) but they were very attentive never letting anything run out. Not only that, but the people were just so friendly. The few, and very few there were, downsides to this location-It seemed like perhaps it was out of place to its surroundings (a camp site was directly behind it). Driving to get there kind of made me lock my doors as I drove through. Still it was well worth the stress. I was a bit confused as to where to go once we arrived. The whole parking thing was a bit random as well. I didn't know if we could or couldn't park where we were. Once we did park there were no real signs designating as to where we needed to go to get to the check in desk. Once we figured that out we were all good. Lastly, the elevator was kind of shifty. It always worked from the first to second floor. We however were on the forth floor. In the morning it would just kind of be stuck and not come and get us. Sometimes when I called down the people at the desk could send it up to us. It was okay, just a bit inconvenient. We also at random had a big waterbug just meandering in our bathroom one morning. That was not particularly anyone's fault, just odd.
