Wingate by Wyndham Lake George

Thank you for commenting on your stay with us here at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I apologize that you found the heating/cooling unit to be too close to the bed. In order to allow for maximum living space and the pull out sofa, the position of the bed cannot be moved. Perhaps getting ready on the other side of the bed would have made the breeze less noticeable. I do apologize for your discomfort. « hide

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay here at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I do apologize that your trip got off to such a rough start. After discussing the matter with my front desk, I realize it was an honest mistake on our part. When the room number was changed, the other guest's room key information was not. I apologize if the intrusion made you uncomfortable. I sincerely hope that you called the front desk to have maintnence take care of the hot water situation. Sometimes it is as simple as adjusting the dial on the tank. Our Sunday paper comes very early in the morning, and even though we order many, if the hotel is busy they are often already taken by 8 am. As a complimentary service, many of our guests take advantage. Similarly, or continental breakfast is also complimentary. I'm sorry you found the selection limited and the bagels you tried to be stale. We have an egg and meat selection, hot oatmeal with multiple topping choices, waffles, yogurt, fruit, in addition to the bagels, muffins, and toast selection. I do hope you decide to try a stay with us here again. We will do our best to make it an enjoyable one! « hide

Thank you for your comments on your stay with us at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I'm sorry your did not enjoy your stay more. Our notes in your reservation show that you did, indeed, call the front desk to complain about the noise from your neighboring room. Our security detail responded promptly to that complain. The offenders were notified that if there was another complaint about that room then they would be asked to leave the hotel. We did not receive any further complaints, so the guests stayed for the remainder of the evening. I am disappointed to know that you were still disturbed and it hadn't been brought to security's attention. We doubled our efforts to make everyone's stay more enjoyable that weekend and I apologize if we did not succeed in our efforts. As for your late checkout, we begin taking requests at 7 am the morning of for late checkouts. We allow this for 10 rooms before we stop taking requests. If you asked for late checkout after our quota was met, that would be why you were not granted a late checkout. Should I have known you were so disturbed and that's why you requested late checkout, an exception may have been made. « hide

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us here at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I am pleased you enjoyed your spacious accommodations. Our breakfast buffet line does get a bit crowded at our busiest times when we have a lot of guests in the hotel. I apologize if it was hard for you to navigate. Our gym is on the smaller side, but then again, it is intended for transient business use and not for large groups so it is kept intentionally small so that we have space for the other amenities we provide. « hide
