Wingate by Wyndham Lake George

Thank you for your kind comments regarding your stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I hope that you will have an opportunity to come and stay with us again next year for Americade. Unfortunately, the turn out for the BBQ was not as much as anticipated the previous year and our caterer would not prepare a cook out without definitive numbers. As the rain caused many cancellations, we couldn't guarantee them a number so we omitted the BBQ. I am very happy you enjoyed your stay with us, regardless, and thank you very much for your loyalty to us! « hide

Thank you very much for taking the time to give your thoughts on your stay with us here at the Wingate by Wyndham in Lake George. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, but apologize that your room was not serviced. The note that gets placed under your door is only given to a guest after a "Privacy Tag" has been left on the door. The housekeepers check the room before 1 pm and then after their lunch break. If, for some reason, it wasn't serviced...we have a houseman on duty that is trained to tidy your room and provide you with fresh towels, etc at your request. If you contacted our front desk, this option would have happily been provided to you. I hope you have an opportunity to visit us again in the future. « hide

If it were a continuous noise, we would be happy to address those making the noise, but being it was just footsteps, I can just apologize that you were disturbed. Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay at the Wingate by Wyndham. You are correct in that our breakfast starts at 6:30 am and ends at 10am. As we have not entered our busy season, you might find that the breakfast attendant has let the food quantity lessen on the buffet to reduce food waste. Any time before 10 am, however, a simple request would have gained you whatever breakfast items you desired that wasn't available when you arrived. Our breakfast buffet is the most extensive in the area. We have meat and egg selections, bagels, muffins, cereal, hot oatmeal with 3 toppings, a waffle maker or french toast sticks, toast and more. I am sorry you did not find the selection satisfying, but it is the largest complimentary buffet for any hotel in Lake George. I do hope you stay with us again and either come to breakfast a little earlier or simply ask the attendant for what you would desire. Thank you again. « hide

I am very glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you as our guest anytime. I'm assuming the Styrofoam comment was about our being more green. We currently recycle our bottles and cans, paper, and conserve energy whenever possible. We are even considering adopting the highway in front of the hotel. I will look into different dining solutions to the Styrofoam, but using real plates is an endeavor that would be close to impossible when we are at capacity volume in the summer. We would hate for people to have to wait for clean dishes! « hide
