“Worst hotel experience ever”

I recently booked a package that included a room the night before then travel via shuttle to and from the cruise ship port terminal while allowing us to leave our car for the duration of our vacation. I booked the stay, specifically requesting 2 double bed as we had 4 guests. I was ensured that this would not be a problem. I never received a confirmation email as promised, then had to call back twice to receive one. The confirmation email had a different confirmation number than I was provided when booking. When this was brought to a staff member's attn, I was told " It won't matter." When arriving the "sales manager" proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation with who we later found out was the shuttle bus driver, then answer 2 telephone calls before waiting on us. After providing her with our name and confirmation email she informed us that we would be getting a room with 1 king sized bed becuase " we overbooked." She confirmed that we had specifically requested 2 double bed and showed no sympathy about the situation stating " What do you want me to do about it?' Several hours later another staff member was on duty and I attempted to expalin the situation about the bed situation and request a roll away bed. He assured me that he had one left and would deliver it to my room immediately. We waited until 11:30pm (approx 3 hours after asking) for the roll away to arrive, attempting to call the front desk 3 times with no answer. When opening the pull out couch, it was covered in food from the previous user, but, we couldn't get clean sheets because no one was ever available at the front desk. The shuttle was nearly 40 min late arriving to take us to port, thankfully we had allowed for delays and did not miss our cruise. When we called to request a shuttle back to the hotel the staff member was extremely rude stating " Well he was just over there to pick a bunch of you cruise people up so I guess you will be waiting awhile." She was assured that it was no one in our party of 10.We waited well over an hour before a shuttle arrived to return us to the hotel. This was by far the worst hotel experince that I have ever had. The poor service involved multple staff members throughout a total of 2 months from the time of booking. I would not recommend to anyone.
