Thank you for expressing your concerns about the late checkout issue. I personally worked Friday evening while a large number of your guests had checked in. I spoke to at least a dozen individuals from your group that evening in reference to late checkouts and it was explained to each of them that due to the logistics of the property that we could only authorize 4 late checkouts. I gave them a few options, such as pairing up and storing their bags in the 4 rooms that requested the late checkouts, and also gave them the option to store their luggage at the front desk. Before I left Friday evening at 11:30 PM, there were 4 rooms from your group on the 4 PM late checkout list. Every hotel has a checkout time and a late checkout policy. This is not something limited to our property. The reason behind these policies in large is due to the hotel's check in time. Our hotel's check in time is at 3 PM, meaning that when we book reservations for our guests, it is understood that by 3 PM they will be able to enter our property and be checked into their room without any delay. According to the front desk manager, there were 15 total requests for late checkout on Saturday afternoon, not just the 4 that you claim. She followed hotel policy just as I had explained it to the same guests the night prior. On a day like that where we have a large number of guests checking out and another large amount of guests checking in, we cannot conceivably allow that many late checkouts and still meet the check in demands of our arriving guests. I do apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused. We do strive to meet each and every guest's accommodations, but unfortunately logistics play a larger role in this matter.Thank you for your patronage and I wish both of your teams good luck in future tournaments. - John AGM « hide

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! I appreciate you noting the quality of our guest rooms. I understand your concern with our location not being right off of I95, but we are located in a very favorable part of the city, surrounded by numerous restaurants, the mall, and we are close to Fort Bragg as well which most of our guests appreciate. The breakfast is complimentary and there is a good selection of items (cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, french toast sticks, waffles, hot/cold cereal, muffins, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, etc).
