“Renovated you have to be kidding me!”

This hotel was among the worst I have stayed at in terms of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.At check in the guest services agent gave us no information about hotel. The only thing he told us was that breakfast was 7 to 10 nothing else.The first room we were put in to had dirty carpet(stained) very bad. The bed covering dirty and had hair on it.Then there was only 2 towels in a king room. I called down to the desk to tell the clerk about the room and he said he would send up his guy. This was now after 1am because we were a late arrival. His guy arrived with a set of sheets and preceded to hand them to me, I guess he expected me to make my own bed. When he saw that I was not going to make my own bed he went over and had me call the desk and explain about the hair. They immediately moved me to a larger room.But I must say that room wasnt much better. Still appeared old and dated for a 2010 rennovated hotel.By this time it was now 2am and after a 5 hour drive we just wanted to get to bed. But the tv would not turn off. At this point we were not making another call to the desk.So morning came my husband went down to desk to get batteries for remote and the guest services agent said that it was not the remote this would be an issue with there tvs and the cable company so we would have to unplug the tv from the wall and that would reset it. He was right that did.Breakfast was very poor, ran out of most items and breakfast bar attendant could not keep these stocked.Overall this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a wingate hotel.
