“First stay at Wingate”

At first look, Wingate seemed to be an upscale hotel - very clean, nice amenities, etc.. The first night my wife and I could hardly sleep because the walls were so thin. We heard everything in the hall, rooms on both side of us and the room above us. We could actually hear the man snoring in the room next to us! The next day we slept in and lounged around the room for awhile before leaving at about 1 pm. When we came back to our room at about 10:30 pm, we found that our room had not been made up. I let the front desk know and she offered to send someone up. I told her that we were tired and didn't want to wait that long before going to bed. When we checked out, Wyndam refunded me 30% of one nights stay to help ease the pain. I wouldn't completely write off Wingate, but it may be a long time before I try staying there again.
