“Visit to Cincinnati”

We had never stayed in a Wyndham hotel before. We loved this Wingate. Check-in was quick, very pleasant young man at the counter, room was very nice and everyone was super friendly and helpful on Thur, Fri and Sat. Sunday morning things changed. We went for breakfast and asked for a TV to be turned on. No hotel employee was in the breakfast area so we went to the front desk person. She found the breakfast room worker and they finally figured out how to turn a TV on (not the one we asked to be turned on, another in the room) but they could not figure out how to change the channels. We made a waffle and upon tasting it realized it was bad .. the mixture had gone sour. We had to again go to the front desk to ask for assistance (the young man working the breakfast room area was no where around). I also asked them to put out a trash can as there was no place to put trash.The Sunday experience will not prevent us from seeking a Wingate in the future, however. We were very pleased with the hotel in general and the Fri and Sat breakfast help was very friendly and helpful. The Sunday "crew" just didn't project the friendliness of the others we encountered.
