“Housekeeping - Front Desk non-coordination”

First impressions are important, & I was devastated by mine. I know that the check-in time was posted as 3 pm, but in a smooth operation, Housekeeping keeps the Front assessed on room cleaning progress, & I have had the luxury of relaxing in one of your rooms as early as 12:30. I arrived at 1:08 & was told that I should come back @ 3 since none of the rooms had been "released". I returned @ 2:45 & received another wave-off. I returned @ 3:05 to find guests 5 deep @ the counter. I was not processed until 3:20! I get that it was the weekend of the Masters, but to me, it seems like a lack of coordination. My inquiry about the cause brought protestations about having to clean the rooms of the returning guests in the same block as those who checked out. If true, this was poor planning, since the trip to Augusta is about 90 minutes, & those folks probably left @ dawn & would not be returning until dark. Surely, a small inconvenience for housecleaning & a better co-ordination by management could have achieved a better outcome for your goal of satisfied guests. Thanks for listening & good luck.
