“Worst night in a hotel ever”

Checked in and everything was great until 9:00pm. Hotel was host to three urban high school basketball teams for the night who had been playing in a local tournament. I put up with the noise, shouting, urban slang, slamming doors, a water fight in the halls, more running up and down the halls until I made my first complaint at 11:00. Was assured by desk staff that they were on it and I was not the only one complaining. Nothing happened, at 12:00 am, called desk again, was informed that they would get right on it. At 1:00 am, went down to front desk and told them the next time they saw me I would be checking out. Desk clerk said they would talk to coaches, that talking to the kids wasn't working. It finally quieted down about 2:30. At 6:00, the Desk clerk in the day shift acted like he didn't know what went on the night before.
