“Hotel should NOT have been open for Christmas guests.”; Dec 29, 2012 Richard H, Flint; There was NO lobby or breakfast area, ((we were given sacks with a sweet roll & bottle of water for breakfast),just a card table & computer at the entry. The person there knew nothing about anything. The heater in room was on high heat & could not be shut off without pulling the plug. The elevators were not working when we were ready to leave - had to haul luggage and boxes down stairs. It was a terrible way to spend our Christmas evening. We had stayed at the Hampton Inn for 20 years, but we won't be stayinng at the Wingate again.
