“Run down and poorly maintained. Low quality”

1. We reserved the only room they had with a jetted tub. The tub was in the middle of the room... Literally. Wierd. But the bubbles it made were like the bubbles you get from a kids fish tank. Nothing relaxing. Horrible.2. Both elevators operated but were scary as hell. They would stop and start intermittently, the doors banged and opened horribly.3. Two of the outlets by the bed were inoperable. Not GFI problems... just didn't work.4. Oven knobs were broken and fell apart when we touched them.5. Coffee pod was missing any caffeinated coffee. Only decaf. Horrible to wake up wanting coffee but only decaf was available.6. Went to get a bottle of water and a soda from the machine and the vending machine on the 1st floor took all of my money. I put in another $1.50 for a water and it took that too.7. Maintenance showed up on our floor to disassemble, clean and generally make as much noise as possible on the morning after our 1st night. The hallway was completely in shambles and crowded with equipment.8. When we arrived, we asked to see the room first. The front desk attendant was very helpful and provided us with a key to look at the room. It didn't work when we went upstairs to see it. The hotel staff was nice, helpful at least, but just not the level I would expect from a Wingate hotel. The facility was run down and poorly maintained. Lots of quality issues. Very disappointed. We checked out early and went to the Hilton Garden Inn next door and got the level of service and quality we were looking for from them.
