“Better than expected”

- I stayed for 3 nights at the Wingate while in Gillette on business. This was my first experience with a Wingate. Accomodations were booked through the company. Based on the price confirmed I was not expecting such a nice hotel. This Wingate was comparable to a new Hampton Inn, very similar in offerings and accomodations. My room was very spacious, the bed had several different pillows (some felt soft and others firmer), the room also had a couch, chair with ottoman, mini fridge and microwave, and work desk. Although I did not use them, the hotel also had a pool, workout room, computer center and hot/cold free morning breakfast (although I seldom made it down in time for breakfast). The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping and right off the interstate. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. The only issue I experienced was trouble with my key opening the door. They gave me the master key to use and I still had trouble - it may have been a battery issue in the door lock.
